Built for maximum compute density
We deploy AMD EPYC 9000-series bare-metal servers in our own racks to maintain consistent thermal performance and memory bandwidth as your workloads scale. With complete control over hardware configuration and no noisy neighbours, your applications perform at full capacity — every cycle, on every core.

AMD EPYC 9000 Series
Up to 192 cores per socket built on the Genoa architecture with PCIe 5.0 and high-bandwidth DDR5 memory channels. Delivers the virtualisation density and core throughput that cloud infrastructure alternatives cannot match at this price point.
DDR5 ECC Memory
ECC-protected DDR5 eliminates memory errors that can corrupt data or crash applications in production. Starts at 128 GB on all plans, with Apex 3 expandable to 3 TB for memory-intensive databases and in-memory analytics.
5 Gbps + 50 Gbps Networking
5 Gbps unmetered public bandwidth for external traffic, plus an isolated 50 Gbps private network for inter-server replication, distributed storage, and cluster backplane traffic — all unmetered and at no extra cost.
Dual Power Supply
Two fully independent PSUs in each chassis. If one fails, the other carries the load without interrupting services. Eliminates the single point of power failure that standard servers carry.
Purpose-Built for Heavy Workloads
Three reasons Tonic Apex bare metal outperforms cloud for demanding enterprise applications.
No Hypervisor Overhead
Your workload runs directly on physical silicon. No CPU steal time, no memory balloon drivers, no I/O contention from neighbours — every EPYC core and every GB of DDR5 is dedicated to your application.
Run Any Hypervisor or Stack
Install Proxmox, VMware ESXi, or KVM directly on bare metal and manage your own virtual machine clusters. Or run containerised workloads on Docker and Kubernetes without a cloud hypervisor between you and the hardware.
Always-On Redundancy
DDoS protection and redundant dual PSU are included on every Tonic Apex plan. Combined with the 50 Gbps private network, this gives you the infrastructure foundation for high-availability deployments.

Enterprise Dedicated Servers – Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our high-core AMD EPYC bare-metal plans.
The EPYC 9000 Genoa architecture delivers up to 96 cores per socket with PCIe 5.0 connectivity, high-bandwidth DDR5 memory channels, and water-cooled sustained boost frequencies. This combination of core density, memory bandwidth, and I/O throughput is what enterprise virtualisation hosts, large database clusters, and HPC workloads require — and cannot get from shared cloud instances at equivalent cost.
Water cooling extracts heat directly from the CPU die, keeping core temperatures well within limits during sustained high-load periods. This prevents thermal throttling — the automatic frequency reduction that air-cooled servers apply under heavy load. Your cores stay at full boost frequency, delivering predictable throughput for long-running compute jobs rather than unpredictable bursts.
The private network is fully isolated from public internet traffic. At 50 Gbps unmetered you can replicate databases, move large backups between servers, run Ceph distributed storage, or transfer VM images without consuming public bandwidth or incurring extra charges. Traffic on the private network stays within the data centre and never touches the internet.
Yes. You receive full root access on bare metal and can install any operating system or hypervisor. Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi, XCP-ng, and KVM are all supported. You manage the hypervisor layer — we provide the physical hardware and keep it connected and powered.
128 GB is the standard configuration for all Apex plans. Tonic Apex 3 officially supports up to 3 TB of DDR5 ECC RAM. Other models can be expanded on request subject to hardware stock. Contact sales@tonicvps.com to discuss memory expansion before ordering.
